It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

I unfortunately had little reading time this last week, what with prepping the house for winter and other various projects that needed to get done before the weather turned too cold to do so. Because of this I did not complete any books this last week but made some progress on a few of them.

I’ve made it about a quarter of the way through Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas and I have to say I’m really enjoying it so far. Hopefully with all the household projects out of the way now I can devote solid reading time to this any other books.

The two books on my planned reading list are both Western Romance novels. The reason why I picked these two books will be explained later today in a second post. The first one is Big Sky Mountain by Linda Leah Miller and the second is Colton: Rodeo Cowboy by C.J. Carmichael.

I am also working my way through Fable: Edge of The World by Christine Golden, however I will likely only be reading it once I finish the above books. Don’t want too many books all fighting for attention at once so I need to pace myself if I am going to read all the books this month I plan to and possibly more.

The review for War Horse by Michael Morpurgo is still being worked on as I am not only reviewing the book but doing a comparison to the movie as well. Look for that review to be posted in the future.
