It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journeys. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

Reviews Posted Last Week:
The Shining by Stephen King
Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor

What I Read Last Week:

While I’m not technically done this one I’m close enough to list it here, I only have about five percent of this book left and so will be finishing it off later today. I really enjoyed this one and will be posting a review a little closer to the release date.

What I Plan To Read This Week:

I have loved this series so far and was so happy to see a new book coming out. While this one doesn’t get released until the end of October I think it will be the next one I pick up simply because I really want to see what happens next with all of the characters, new and old, in this series.

What have you read recently? Were they as good as you had hoped or just alright? What books do you plan to read this week?

  1. I’m glad I’m not the only one who occasionally lists a book as finished when the end is in sight. 🙂
    I haven’t read a Star Wars book in years. Perhaps it’s time…

    • I figure if I’m really close to finishing I might as well list it as done, since I generally finish them right after making my post. Oh you should definitely pick up some Star Wars books again, I’ve only recently returned to them after many years of not touching them.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great reading week.

    • Depends on how close I am to the end that makes me call it done ahead of time or not, also if I know whether I will be reading that day or not. But yes I generally actually finish it before listing it as done.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great reading week.
