It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

Reviews Posted Last Week:
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Breaking Point by Lindsay McKenna

What I Read Last Week:

Nothing. I was on vacation and didn’t have the time nor desire to do any reading.

What I Plan To Read This Week:

I have lots to do this week, which mostly involves the post vacation chaos. However I am hoping to get at least one book read. The book I will be attempting to read is Wedding At Cardwell Ranch. I have been enjoying the Cardwell series books since it came out and so I am looking forward to see how it continues, especially since there is a whole new bunch of Cardwell’s being added into the mix.

What have you read recently? Were they as good as you had hoped or just alright? What books do you plan to read this week?

  1. Just finished The Farm by Emily McKay. It was great to start with but the whiny main character ruined it after a while. Now I’m reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas, and Consider Phlebas by the great Iain Banks. Both scratch different SciFi/fantasy itches .

    • Whiny characters can really kill a book quickly. I read Throne of Glass when it first came out, enjoyed the first chapter but kind of hated it more and more with each progressive chapter. Can’t say I’ve heard of Consider Phlebas before.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great reading week.
