It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

Reviews Posted Last Week:
Fried Greed Tomatoes At The Whistlestop Cafe by Fannie Flagg

What I Read Last Week:

I didn’t have a lot of time to do reading this week but I did manage to listen to Breakfast At Tiffany’s. This is a book I’ve been meaning to read for a while now and finally got around to it. It was both odd and fairly good. I will be posting a review of this book, along with the movie, at the end of the month.

What I Plan To Read This Week:

This week I’m hoping to finish The Boleyn Reckoning. I’ve gotten a bit of it read already but due to lack of reading time last week I didn’t get very far. Hopefully I can finish it before company arrives at the end of the week and takes away my reading time. So far I’ve really been enjoying it and looking forward to how all the events from the trilogy will come to their conclusion.

What have you read recently? Were they as good as you had hoped or just alright? What books do you plan to read this week?

    • I agree, especially when it comes to the Boleyn’s. Though I can see myself reading some more of Capote’s work in the future now that I have finally read some of his work for the first time.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great reading week.
