It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday! What are you Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It is a great way to recap what you read and/or reviewed the previous week and to plan out your reading and reviews for the upcoming week. It’s also a great chance to see what others are reading right now…who knows, you might discover that next “must read” book!

What I Read Last Week:

I managed to finish The Communist’s Daughter  a few hours before our book club meeting. I can’t say that I enjoyed this book, and neither did anyone in the book club for that matter, but at least it was a relatively quick read.

Next up I read Wild Horses. I really enjoyed this book, it wasn’t quite what I expected, but that was a good thing. There were a couple things that made this book stand out to me as fairly unique. I will be posting a full review of this book on February 26.

Seed was up next and I have to say this book was nothing special. I hadn’t been expecting much out of this one, but I still found the overall plot line pretty boring. I will be posting a full review of this book on March 5.

What I Plan To Read This Week:

This week I plan to read Traitor To The Blood. I’ve been meaning to read this one for a while now, and since I’m working on finishing this series off this year I had best get to it. After this I’m not sure what I will read, if the book I ordered from the library comes in I will read that, otherwise I might just randomly pick from my shelf.

What have you read recently? Were they as good as you had hoped or just alright? What books do you plan to read this week?
