Monday Progress Report

What I did Last Week

Read

I didn’t do too much reading last week. I did get to A Bride’s Story Volume 9. This book arrived on Tuesday and I very eagerly jumped into it. I enjoyed this one much like the previous volumes and can’t wait for the next one to come out, though I know it will be some time before that happens.

Then I read Ranma 1/2 Volume 1. I watched the anime years ago and have wanted to read the manga ever since. I really enjoyed this first volume, and will be continuing on with the series whenever I get my hands on the rest of them – which will hopefully be soon, because I really want to keep reading this one.

Watched

I watched a couple episodes of The Incredible Dr. Pol at the beginning of last week. Other than that, the TV was off limits to me because of family – not that I didn’t want to watch things, but my parents have an issue with sharing the TV and thus no one else can watch anything while they are here.

Life

I don’t even really want to talk about it. My parents came up for a visit and everything just went to shit after that. Then, as the icing on the cake, the boy and I ended up getting bad colds, so our suffering intensified.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

No solid plans here. I have a couple of books that are partially read, and my hope is to finish them this week, but it all depends on how much reading time I have.

Watching

I probably have several things on the PVR from the previous week that I should watch. Other than that, don’t have any real plans for this either.

Life

I’ve got a few things that need to get done around the house this week, though they might not get done right away. It will all depend on how long this cold I’ve been fighting lingers.

    • I’ll definitely have to keep that in mind. I think at one point I saw some at my local used book store but who knows if they still have them and which volumes they will have. All I know is, the sooner I can get them the better ha ha.

  1. Dr. Pol is a fun show, and it’s in Michigan besides, which I like. 🙂 Sorry to hear about the colds, and the TV woes. Family and TV watching are not always compatible, I’ve seen that happen too.

    have a great week!

    • I really love the show. Usually I don’t get to see it, because the episodes rarely air through my service for some reason, but lately they have been showing all the reruns and a few of the newer episodes so I’m happy. It’s alright, colds happen, and I’m already feeling better. Family and TV definitely don’t mix.
