What I did Last Week

Read

I didn’t read anything in full last week. I did start two books but didn’t get very far in them. I am less than fifty pages into Through Stone And Sea, and honestly, I’m very bored already. This one will be hard to finish. I also started The Battle of The Labyrinth, but only made it about fifty or so pages in, but so far I’m enjoying it.

Watched

I watched the entire second season of The Last Alaskans, which was short but good. I also watched a few episodes of My 600lb Life. For Family Movie Night we ended up watching Daredevil. I honestly don’t remember that movie being so long and boring.

Life

Life was crazy last week The first half was spent cooking and making dog food, a supply which should last several months. The second half of the week I ended up getting a nasty cold. This is turn led me to play far too many hours of World of Warcraft, but I enjoyed the game and have made a ton of progress.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I’ll be working through the rest of The Battle of The Labyrinth this week. I should get it done in a day or two if I can find reading time, and if this cold ends, I just can’t read when I’m sick.

After that, I’ll probably be working my way through Saga. I started the first volume last week, and nearly finished it, but never did. It’s really good and I’m looking forward to finishing it.

Watching

Not too sure what I’ll be watching this week.

Life

The house needs a good cleaning because the in-laws are coming up soon, so I’ll be doing that. Otherwise, I have no real plans.

What I did Last Week

Read

I did a decent amount of reading last week, managing to get through three books, though they were all fairly short. First up I read Warcraft: Legends Volume 1. While I enjoyed this, I did find a couple of issues with it. I’ll be posting a full review of this book soon.

Next up Warcraft: Legends Volume 2. Much like the first volume, I enjoyed this book but again found a couple of issues with it.  I’ll be posting a full review of this book soon.

Lastly, I read Murder In Minor Key. While I liked this one, I have to say it was one of my least favorite Murder, She Wrote novels so far. Like the previous novels, I highly doubt I will post a review of this one.

Watched

I didn’t watch much last week. I finally finished the third season of The Golden Girls. For Family Movie Night we ended up watching Wonder Woman, the 2009 animated movie, and we all enjoyed it. Outside of that, I pretty much ignored the TV.

Life

I honestly didn’t do much last week. I did some writing, but not a ton. I am ahead on my word count goal for Camp NaNoWriMo, though I have failed at keeping my word count updated on the site. I did some baking but not too much. I also got sucked into World of Warcraft again. I’ve been wanting to play it for a while now, especially since Legion came out, and I finally broke down and did that, but now it’s eating up a lot of my time playing catch up since I hadn’t played it for four years. Other than that, I spend a bunch of time outside, enjoying the unseasonably warm weather.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I just started reading Through Stone And Sea. I only got a few pages into this one, but I’m hoping to get it done this week. However, if it’s like the previous book in the series, it may be a bit of a slog to get through.

I also plan on reading Saga this week. I just got these books and I’m dying to read them. I think reading these in between chapters of Through Stone And Sea is my best bet. I may or may not read all seven volumes of Saga this week.

Watching

No real plans for TV or movies this week. I will probably watch stuff based upon my mood or what I happen to find on on a particular day.

Life

I really need to get back to the house purge, so the plan is to get one room done this week. I also need to take a bunch of stuff to donate from the previous round of purging that I did a month or so ago. Writing will also be a priority, because I would like to reach my word count goal for Camp NaNoWriMo early and at the rate I’m going, that will happen. The weather should remain nice this week, so I will have a chance to clean up the yard and maybe even work a bit in the garden to start prepping it for planting next months.

What I did Last Week

Read

I actually managed to read two books last week, which was pretty awesome. First up, I read Violet Grenade. This was a very different book that I got sucked into right at the beginning and didn’t want to put it down. I enjoyed it and will be posting a full review closer to it’s publication date at the beginning of May.

Next, I ended up reading Buffalo Girls. This is a book I’ve been wanting to read for a while now and I’m so glad that I did. The story was a bit slow at first but definitely picked up later on. I really enjoyed this one and now it’s got me wanting to consume all things western. I’ll be posting a full review of this book in June.

Watched

This was another week where I didn’t watch much. I got almost all of the third season of The Golden Girls done, but I think there are two episodes left. I did watch My 600lb Life and River Monsters as well. For Family Movie Night we ended up watching Annie Oakley. I’ve seen this one several times and always enjoy it. Hubby liked this one but the boy wasn’t overly interested.

Life

A lot of baking happened last week. I had some dog treat orders to fill, which kept me pretty busy. Then I tried to plan out what I was doing for Camp NaNoWriMo, but n the end, I just sat around and did very little. On Saturday, I finally started to write again, after two weeks off (I did write a few words on Friday but nothing to be proud of) and while it started out slow, by the end of the night I had over 5000 words, which was a really nice start.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I don’t have any solid reading plans for this week. I may or may not read, it all depends on how much time I devote to writing and how badly I want to pick up a book.

Watching

I will finish the third season of The Golden Girls, which should be easy considering there is only two episodes left to watch. Outside of that, I don’t know what I will watch. I might try to clear a few more things off of the PVR or watch something new.

Life

Writing will probably consume most of my time this week. I like to get a head of work count when starting Camp NaNoWriMo, that way if I have to take a day off for some reason, I don’t fall behind on words.

What I did Last Week

Read

I finished reading Scarlet. I found it slow to start with, but it did pick up in the second half. Though the last hundred pages or so were what really made me love this book. I’ll be posting a full review of this book soon.

Watched

I didn’t watch all that much last week. I did get in several episodes of The Golden Girls, but still have a few to go before I finish up season three. I also caught up on the last couple episodes of Heartland. For Family Movie Night we ended up watching Jumper, which was okay. I did watch a lot of World of Warcraft streaming on Twitch as well.

Life

My week was epicly lazy. Like, I seriously did nothing. I barely wrote anything, mostly because my previous projects rough draft is done and I wanted to take a bit of a break before Camp NaNoWriMo starts in April. Other than that, I just sat around not wanting to do anything.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I have two books on the go right now. I started American Gods on the weekend, and honestly, I don’t know how I feel about this one. It’s so weird and I’m really not sure if I will keep going with it or now. I’m about a third of the way through this one.

The second book is Violet Grenade. I got an ARC of this one and decided I better get to reading it since it’s out in about a month. I’ve only just started this one, but I’m really intrigued by it. I’ll admit that I went into this one blind, ignoring the synopsis, and while I don’t know exactly what it is about yet, I am enjoying it and looking forward to finishing it this week.

Watching

I have no idea what I will be watching this week. Some episodes of The Golden Girls will likely happen, but outside of that I don’t know.

Life

I should probably try to do any necessary prep work before Camp NaNoWriMo starts on Saturday. The biggest thing is to decide what I will be writing, and then do a bit of planning from there. Outside of that, I have no real plans this week. I may continue to be a lazy ass or I might find my motivation and get shit done, only time will tell.

What I did Last Week

Read

I managed to finish reading Illidan last week. I found this book to be okay, though I did have a few issues with it. I’ll be posting a full review of this book in June.

Watched

I didn’t watch much last week. I got in a few episodes of The Golden Girls, watched the latest episode of My 600lbs Life and then watched Best In Show. We ended up skipping family movie night because we all lost track of time and then couldn’t decide on what to watch. I also watched some various live streams on Twitch, mostly ones involving World of Warcraft, which only increased by desire to play the game once again.

Life

Not too busy of a week. I did a lot of writing, which was nice. I thought about continuing on with the house purge, but decided against it until I could sell some of the stuff we have piled up. If I kept cleaning everything, I wouldn’t have anywhere to put the things we want to get rid of.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I’ll be working on finishing Scarlet this week. I’m about half way through and it’s staring to pick up. I can’t say that I’m enjoying this one as much as I liked Cinder, but perhaps the seconds half will be better. I’m not sure what I will read after this one is done.

Watching

I don’t really have any plans to watch stuff this week. I’d like to watch more of The Golden Girls and maybe clear out some shows on the PVR, but we’ll see what happens.

Life

This is another area where I don’t really have a lot of plans. I know I will be devoting time to writing, and likely some Camp NaNoWriMo prep, but really outside of that, things are a bit of a blank slate for the week.

What I did Last Week

Read

I read a book! Well, about half of one. I finally had some desire to read, so I ended up finishing The Titan’s Curse. I thought this book as okay. I feel like I would have enjoyed it more have I not abandoned it for several weeks part way through. I’ll be posting a full review of this book sometimes in June.

Watched

I didn’t watch much last week. I did get through about ten episodes from The Golden Girls season three. For Family Movie Night we ended up watching The Day After Tomorrow. It had been years since I saw this one, and I thought it was alright. The boy didn’t like it all that much. I also watched Moana about a dozen times over the week. Love that movie so much.

Life

Writing consumed most of my time last week. If I wasn’t writing, I was working on plotting out sections of my current project or for my next project. I did do some baking over the course of the week as well, but for the most part I slacked off on that unless it was an order.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I started Illidan over the weekend, but didn’t get very far into it. I’m hoping to get this one finished this week. I can’t say I’m loving this one just yet, but being only 30 some odd pages in, it’s hard to know how it will be.

Watching

I want to finish up season three of The Golden Girls this week if possible. I also have a bunch of stuff on the PVR I’d like to watch so I can clear up some space. We may go watch A Dog’s Purpose as well, since it’s in the theatre in town this week. I will likely end up watching Moana at least once this week as well.

Life

I have no idea what I will do this week. Obviously I will be writing, but beyond that, I have no idea. I guess I will see what the week has in store.

What I did Last Week

Read

Another week has gone by and I haven’t read a thing. I tried a few times, but I couldn’t get more than a couple pages done before I gave up.

Watched

I watched a lot of The Golden Girls. I managed to watch the entire second season and the first episode of the third season. For Family Movie Night we ended up watching Green Lantern, hubby and I had seen this one before but it was the boys first time watching it. I know I had enjoyed it before, but this time I found it a bit boring.

Life

I have a semi-busy but very productive week. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen baking, making things for us as well as filling orders – which was basically making a crap ton of dog treats. The rest of my time was spent at my writing desk. I am so happy that I finally have a special area set up to work on my writing. My productivity and desire to write has gone up exponentially In the last nine days I have written over thirty thousand words. I’m very happy with my progress made on this story over this past week.

What I Plan To Do This Week

Reading

I have no idea if I will do reading this week. I will have to see if my reading slump remains or not.

Watching

I’ll be working my way through the third season of The Golden Girls. I absolutely love this show and it’s the perfect thing to watch when I’m too tired to write.

Life

Writing is likely going to take up a huge chunk of my life this week. I’m trying to finish my current writing project before the end of the month, so if I can write as much this week as I did last week, then I’ll be well on my way to accomplishing that. I do want to try to get some more of the house purging done, but we’ll see if that happens or not.
